The weekend should be hot and rainy in much of Brazil, although cloudy conditions will start to cool down in the coming days, according to Climatempo forecasts.
This Saturday (22), there is an expectation of typical summer weather: sun, heat, humidity and rain at any time of the day. A system of high atmospheric pressure that operates in the center-south of Brazil prevents the advance of a cold front and leaves the temperatures high.
In the capital of São Paulo, the maximum temperature forecast is 32ºC, with isolated showers in the afternoon in moderate to strong intensity. In Baixada Santista, however, the forecast is for a full day of sunshine, without rain.
In the southern region of the country, the intense heat observed in recent weeks continues to predominate. On Friday (21), all five highest temperatures recorded in Brazil were in Rio Grande do Sul.
There are possible storms in most Brazilian capitals, such as Porto Alegre, Belo Horizonte, Goiânia, BrasÃlia, Teresina, São LuÃs, Fortaleza, Palmas, Belém, Macapá, Manaus, Porto Velho and Rio Branco.
On the coast of Amapá, in Amazonas, Acre, on the coast between Pará and Ceará and on the coast of Bahia, Saturday continues with many clouds, periods with sun and showers at any time.
In the period between January 22 and 28, 2022, rain forecasts will cool down in the country and the heaviest rainfall will be over the North region. Almost the entire country will have little rain, says Climatempo.
