What Elon Musk finally meant by the enigmatic O in his tweet

He caused chaos yesterday (29/1) on Twitter with an enigmatic Oh Elon Musk. The tweet with the last letter of the Greek alphabet went viral with the millionaire leaving his loyal followers in the dark for hours.

Social media users did not stop speculating. Some said it is trying once again to show that it is the Alpha and Omega, others said it refers to the well-known watch brand.

Finally, it took hours for him to explain Elon Musk that Ω is the message for “resistance to current” as that letter is the symbol for the unit of electrical resistance in the International System of Units (Ohm). After all, there were some who guessed correctly.

The electrical resistance of a conductor is the difficulty encountered in the passage of electric current through a conductor. In the International System of Units (SI), the unit of electrical resistance is measured in ohms (and is denoted by the Greek letter Ω), while electrical conductivity is measured in the siemens unit (S).
