This Saturday (1st), the artist Bibi Ferreira is honored by Google with a doodle that marks the date of her birth birthday . The actress, singer and theater director would have turned 102 years old this June 1st.
Abigail Izquierdo Ferreira, better known as Bibi Ferreira, died in 2019, aged 96.

With more than 75 years of career, Bibi has become a reference in theater, having taken to the stage in several shows, including “My Fair Lady”, “Alô Dolly!” and even played the French singer Edith Piaf in “Piaf – A Vida de Uma Estrela da Canção”.
She collects trophies from the APCA, Molière, Shell, Mambembe awards, among others. From 2011, the artist also began to nominate the most important Brazilian musical theater award, the Bibi Ferreira Award.
She was also a presenter and led the live television programs “Brasil 60”, in which she invited the biggest names in Brazilian theater, and “Bibi semper aos Domingos”, both in the 60s.
Despite her long career, Bibi demonstrated her gifts as an actress on only two occasions on television: in the miniseries “Marquesa de Santos”, shown in 1984 on Rede Manchete, and in “Retratos de Mulher”, in 1933, on TV Globo.
In 2017, at the age of 95, the artist took to the stage her last production: “Bibi Ferreira – For all my life”. The work brought together the songs that marked the actress's life and career, as well as the many encounters and friends who did the same.
