Since starring in the 4th season of “Game of Thrones”, released in 2013, Pedro Pascal didn’t stop working, becoming one of Hollywood’s darlings.
Over the past ten years, the actor has participated in more than 15 productions. Among them, films from major studios, such as “Wonder Woman 1984” , “The Weight of Talent” , “The Protector 2” , “Kingman: The Golden Circle” and “Operation Frontier” .
However, despite the passage through the cinemas, it was on the small screen that Pascal was consecrated.
Soon after starring in one of the biggest series of recent years, the actor starred, alongside Wagner Moura, in one of Netflix’s first successful original productions, “Narcos” .
The series about drug cartels in Colombia ran for three seasons and ended in 2017.
Two years later, between one film and another, Pascal was scheduled to star in a production in the Star Wars universe: “The Mandalorian” .
The title is the most popular on the Disney streaming service and already has four seasons confirmed. The 3rd launches in March of this year and the 4th is in production.
In 2023, Pascal will also hit the screens on another platform. The actor is the protagonist of the highly anticipated series “The Last of Us”, which premiered last Sunday (15) on HBO Max.

But how did Pedro Pascal get to where he is?
Born in Santiago, Chile, on April 2, 1975, Jose Pedro Balmaceda Pascal left his country of origin during the military dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet and grew up in California, in the United States.
Pascal attended Performing Arts College in New York, where he began his acting career. There, he got some theater roles and appearances on TV shows.
His first screen role was in 1999, in an episode of “Good vs. Evil” . In the same year he made three more punctual participations.
There were numerous secondary roles on TV for more than ten years until she brought Oberyn Martell to life in “Game of Thrones” and finally gain the attention of the industry.
Among his occasional appearances, the list includes productions such as: “Law & Order” , “The Good Wife” , “The Panthers” and the pilot of a Wonder Woman series that did not go ahead – a universe that he would join years later.
In 2005, he won his first leading role in a film. This is an Argentine production. “Sisters” .
Afterwards, he returned to the big screen only in 2011, participating, in the background, in the productions “The Fall of Sam Axe” and “The Agent of Destiny” starring Matt Damon and Emily Blunt .
Pascal returned to work with Damon, this time, with a more relevant role in the plot, in “The Great Wall”, from 2016.
Since then, it has become part of the list of darlings of Hollywood.
In 2021, the Chilean was considered the Best Actor of the Decade at the Copihue de Oro, an award in his native country.
