Wildberries announced the launch of a new price reduction program for electronics and home appliances.
For sellers who bring prices back to February 2022 levels, the online retailer will reduce their own merchant fees and also highlight those items in a separate section. Wildberries will invest about 100 million rubles in the program.
As the press service notes, prices for certain models of refrigerators and washing machines at Wildberries have already decreased to 33%, hobs – up to 43%, dishwashers – up to 30%, coffee machines – up to 73%, microwave ovens – up to 70%. The cost of some models of vacuum cleaners decreased by 24%, blenders – by 22%. Electronics are also becoming cheaper: laptops and MFPs – up to 43%, smartphones – by 20%.
The first wave of price cuts was launched by the company at the end of March: it covered a significant range – from food, children’s goods, clothing and footwear to household appliances and electronics. As a result of the program, the cost of many goods was reduced by sellers by 30-50%.
