Singer The Weeknd performed a show as part of his “After Hours Til Dawn Tour” at the MorumBIS stadium, located in the south of São Paulo, on Saturday (7). The show mixed classic songs by the Canadian with new songs that should be included in the album “Hurry Up Tomorrow”.
Hits such as “Blinding Lights” and “Save Your Tears” made up the setlist for the show in the capital of São Paulo, which also featured a duet with Brazilian singer Anitta that had never been performed before.
On social media, Abel Tesfaye fans considered names for the new songs presented and pointed out that the new songs should be on the new album. “São Paulo” would be the name of the collaboration with the voice of “Bellakeo” and “Envolver”, and “Dancing in the Flames”, “Run Away” and “In Heaven” — which opened the show — would be the names of the other songs.
The album “Hurry Up Tomorrow” still has no release date or confirmed setlist, so there is no way to confirm whether the names suggested by the singer’s fans are true. Hours before Saturday’s show, The Weeknd revealed the cover and announced the opening of pre-sales for the new album.
This Sunday (8), Anitta celebrated her participation in the Canadian’s show and defined the duet as “insane” when publishing a series of records of the performance on her Instagram profile.
