Brazil recorded 114 more deaths from Covid-19 in 24 hours, according to data from the National Council of Health Secretaries (Conass) this Thursday (19). With the update, the total number of fatal victims of the disease reaches 665,433.
In all, 30,752,226 people have confirmed a coronavirus infection in the country since the start of the pandemic. In the last 24 hours, Conass recorded 10,415 new cases.
The moving average of deaths from the disease is at 113, while that of cases is at 16,157.
Moving averages consider the average of infections and deaths recorded in the last seven days. The data allow monitoring of the pandemic indicators without possible distortions caused by possible underreporting on weekends.
Covid-19 test positivity grows 56% in a week, points out Abrafarma
The positivity rate of Covid-19 tests carried out in Brazilian pharmacies follows the upward trend, with the seventh increase in a row, according to data from the Brazilian Association of Pharmacy and Drugstore Chains (Abrafarma). Read more.
