Stories about smartphones spontaneously catching fire always attract attention, especially when it comes to the popular model, which may well include the Poco X3 smartphone.
The owner of the smartphone revealed that he acquired the Poco X3 in December last year. For several months of use, he did not notice any problems in the operation of the device, which did not even overheat.
On April 13, quite unexpectedly, a smartphone that was on charge exploded and caught fire. The destroyed battery completely damaged the device, charred the back panel and smashed the smartphone screen.

The owner of the destroyed smartphone posted the story of the Poco X3 fire on his Twitter page, accompanied by photos of the burned Poco X3. Of course, he was waiting for compensation and apologies from Xiaomi and Poco.
Poco representatives responded to his message a few days later, stating that they were investigating the cause of the incident. According to the initial finding, the damage was caused by an “external force”. Referring to the photo, the company said that there was an external impact, as a result of which the smartphone’s battery was damaged.
The owner of the burnt out Poco X3 completely denies the fact of external influences and is convinced that the fire occurred due to problems with controlling the temperature level during charging.
