The news that Xiaomi began selling its smartphones bundled with iPhone on the JD.com platform made a lot of noise in the local market. Users (and especially fans) had legitimate questions for the Chinese company, and Xiaomi answered them.

As it turned out, the company itself had nothing to do with this initiative. The fact is that the operator of the official Xiaomi store on the JD.com platform is the trading platform itself: it buys brand devices in bulk, places them in its own warehouse and then sells them at retail. Thus, everything that is offered in one way or another in the official Xiaomi store on the JD.com site is the initiative of JD.com itself. Including the sale of Xiaomi and Redmi smartphones complete with iPhone. After Xiaomi representatives contacted the site, it quickly removed the strange “smartphone sets” from the catalog.

Recall that yesterday the store offered to purchase an iPhone 13 with 256 GB of memory, complete with one of its three Xiaomi smartphones – Mi 11 Lite, Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro. Prices ranged from $1165 to $1230.
