Xiaomi people’s camera phone finally got Android 11

Xiaomi launched the Mi CC9 Pro and Mi CC9 Pro Premium Edition at the end of 2019, the world’s first smartphones with a 108MP main camera. Outside of China, they came out under the names Mi Note 10 and Mi Note 10 Pro, respectively.

The smartphones debuted with the MIUI 11 skin based on the Android 9.0 Pie operating system, and were later updated to Android 10 and MIUI 12. They have now started receiving the MIUI 12 update based on Android 11.

Smartphones Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro and Mi CC9 Pro Premium Edition differ in the amount of memory and lenses of the main cameras, but in general they are copies of each other, so the smartphones use the same MIUI assembly.

The Chinese version of the phone has been receiving weekly MIUI builds based on Android 11 for a very long time, but the stable update with the number V12.1.3.0.RFDCNXM has only started rolling out now.

The firmware is expected to be available to more users soon and will be released outside of China for the Mi Note 10 and Mi Note 10 Pro.

At the time of its release, the smartphone was put on a par with the Huawei Mate 30 Pro in the DxOMark rating. For its excellent value for money, it was dubbed the people’s camera phone.
