The presenter and eternal Queen of the Little People, Xuxa Meneghel turns 60 this Monday (27) and organized a cruise trip that started on the 24th and runs until this Monday to enjoy his birthday among fans.
Xuxa began her television career on the former TV Manchete and materialized on TV Globo, with the famous “Xou da Xuxa”.
Recently, the presenter vented on the program “Saia Justa”, on the GNT channel, about the difficulties over the four decades of her career in front of the TV.
Xuxa shared her feelings about being a woman and a public figure in the 1980s. “I caught a time when women were looked upon as a piece of meat. Before, she didn’t even exist, ”she said.
She also revealed in the special edition of her anniversary of the program “Altas Horas”, on TV Globo, that her former manager, Marlene Mattos, did not want black paquitas on the team.
Actress Adriana Bombom was in the audience and said she was an extra on a show by the presenter in 1996.
“Marlene didn’t want a black paquita, but I was delighted with her beauty”, said Xuxa.
Then, Bombom talked about how the experience of participating in Xuxa Park was.
“My dream was to be able to invade that television to be there and be a paquita, but I know that my dream was very far away, even because the paquitas were blonde and I knew that I couldn’t be there because of the color, because I was black”, he said.
