The Yandex team continues to develop the Yandex.Rover project. This time, a courier robot began delivering grocery orders from supermarkets and restaurants in Moscow.
The service is already available in Khamovniki in stores such as Azbuka Vkusa and VkusVill, as well as at four dozen restaurants and cafes in the Usachevsky market area. Delivery from Yandex.Lavka in Khamovniki should start working soon.
Delivery by Yandex.Rover is available when placing orders via Yandex.Eda and Yandex Go. When the rover brings the order, the “Open the lock” button will appear in the application.
As a reminder, in December 2020, Yandex.Rover began delivering Yandex.Food orders from restaurants to employees and visitors of the Belaya Ploschad business district near the Belorusskaya metro station in Moscow, as well as in Innopolis near Kazan. And in February, robotic delivery for the first time became available to residential buildings in Moscow. Rover began delivering Yandex.Lavka orders (delivering groceries from stores) to homes on Khodynskoye Pole in Moscow.
