Zayn Malik , 31, admitted to being kicked off Tinder, a dating app, twice. Single since October 2021, when he announced his breakup with the model Gigi Hadid 29, the singer faced difficulties meeting new people virtually.
In an interview for the website Nylon, Malik recounted his experience and stated that he was accused of not being a truthful profile. “It wasn’t very successful for me, I’ll be honest. Everyone accused me of being a 'catfish'. They're like, 'What are you using Zayn Malik's photos for?' I got kicked out once or twice.”
However, this did not become a problem for the artist, who still assured that he was happily single. “I'm very content and happy to be single for the first time in my life,” he said.
When it comes to relationships, Zayn said he was repressed by his parents during his adolescence. As soon as he gained independence, he began dating the singer Perrie Edwards which lasted from the age of 17 to 21.
In 2015, the romance came to an end, but it didn't take long for Malik to start dating Gigi Hadid. Over the six years of their relationship, the couple had Khai who is now three years old.
