The development team of the Zoom video conferencing service, which has gained phenomenal popularity amid the coronavirus pandemic, has announced the launch of a new useful feature.

Built-in third-party applications can now be launched during video conferencing. Zoom Apps was announced in October 2020 and is now fully operational. With the help of such built-in third-party applications, you can launch Asana, Slack, Dropbox, and many other services right in the video conference window. There are over 50 third-party applications available at the moment, including even games.

If you are using the latest version of the Zoom client, you can install applications through the new Applications tab. It is available on the toolbar during Zoom calls.

The Zoom Events platform for holding virtual events has also become available to users. It is designed to help you easily create, organize, and manage online events. The functionality includes not only a single “center” for all events and the creation of multisession events, but also the organization of ticket sales and registration of participants.
