CD Projekt Red has announced the release of a major update to the infamous Cyberpunk 2077 game.
Patch 1.5 will be available soon on PC, Stadia and consoles. It brings various improvements, fixes a number of bugs in tasks and gameplay, and also adds free additional content. In addition, the patch includes the long-awaited version for next generation consoles. As the developers promise, Cyberpunk 2077 can now fully use the additional power of the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.
In particular, the new Cyberpunk 2077 patch will bring support for ray-traced local shadows, dynamic 4K resolution, DualSense support, and much more. The full list of patch changes is simply huge.
In addition, CD Projekt Red is offering a free trial to download on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. It contains all the changes introduced in Patch 1.5. For 5 hours in the demo version, all the features of Cyberpunk 2077 are available without any restrictions.
According to the developers, the PlayStation 5 version is a separate product, so the transfer of prizes received in the previous version due to backward compatibility is not possible. Xbox achievements will be automatically transferred to the new version using Smart Delivery technology.
