Adorable puppy wears protective suit to work with his owner

Sampson is the service dog who conquered the internet because he learned to wear special protective equipment, in order to stay by his owner Joey Ramp during his student day in a laboratory.

Ramp is a neuroscientist who suffered traumatic head injuries after a horse riding accident in 2006. Since then, her dog has accompanied her everywhere in case she needs assistance during a seizure or stress attack.

It is the first dog to have access to a laboratory at the University of Illinois, where its owner is studying for a doctorate. However, getting his ticket was not easy, because although it is known that dogs do not usually catch or transmit coronavirus, the owners of the place asked Ramp to take some precautions.

She agreed and with the help of some friends created a special protective suit for her loin, which includes boots, glasses and a lab coat that make him look like a professional.

An expert in your area

In addition to knowing how to wear safety gear similar to that of his human companions, Sampson learned to lie on a rubber mattress for more than four hours, bring and carry a few items, and not be distracted by pampering during his workday.

Its owner just wanted to feel accompanied and safe, but her initiative is ensuring that other support dogs can be next to their humans to take care of them at all times.

People with disabilities want to study science, and if we can do it alongside our service dogs to feel protected, then things should be more accessible. This is important and it is time to start doing it.
