India Prime Minister Narendra Modi has postponed a trip to Croatia, Netherlands and Norway, a high government official told CNN .
No official reason was given to postponement, but the announcement occurs hours after Nova Delhi launched attacks against Pakistan and Caxemira administered by Pakistan.
Modi chaired a high level meeting with office ministers on Wednesday (7).
In a video released by the cabinet, Modi can be seen sitting alongside important government figures, including Interior Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and National Security Counselor Ajit Doval.
Even so, the Indian Prime Minister has not yet spoken publicly since India launched attacks against neighboring Pakistan.
Understand the conflict between India and Pakistan
India launched “Operation Sindoor” on Tuesday night (6), in Brasilia, and reached “terrorist infrastructure” in both Pakistan and in the Caxemira region run by Pakistan.
This is a great climb that takes the two neighboring nations, which have nuclear weapons, on the brink of a total war.
Pakistan says it has slaughtered five Indian Air Force jets and a drone. India did not confirm these losses. Pakistani sources said three of the five slaughtered aircraft were Rafale – valuable actives from the Indian Air Force purchased from a French manufacturer.
The Indian offensive occurs after armed men kill 26 people, mostly tourists, in Caxemira controlled by India in April. India accused Pakistan of involvement, something the Pakistani government denies.
India, from Hindu, and Pakistan, mostly Muslim, control parts of the cashmire, but claim it fully and have already crashed three wars through the territory.
