Ariana Grande opens up about being a constant target of the tabloids

Singer Ariana Grande shared how she felt about the sensational headlines about her that have appeared in the media in recent years. Regarding publications about Grande’s private life, she said she had “insatiable frustration”.

“There is an insatiable frustration, an inexplicable and hellish feeling when seeing people misinterpret the people you love”, said the singer in an interview with Zach SangShow. The video of the interview was published last Monday (26).

The singer of the hit “Yes, and?” didn't name names, but the end of her marriage to Dalton Gomez and the beginning of her recent relationship with Ethan Slater became one of the favorite topics in tabloids and gossip magazines.

Regarding her upcoming album, “Eternal Sunshine,” Grande admitted in the interview that some of her new songs may serve as a tip to people who have bought into the ideas peddled in the tabloids.

“We all know this about the tabloids and the media,” she said. “We selectively remember that this is what the tabloids do to people, especially women, no matter if we like the person or not… We leave out space for humanity, for nuance.

But, of course, Grande said she has “a lot” of things she wants people to know about her and her personal life. “But we don't have enough time,” she said in the interview.

At the end of the day, however, Grande feels nothing but gratitude for the place she's currently in. She will star in the film “Wicked” (a musical from the “Wizard of Oz” universe) – as well as being very excited about the new album she has put together.

“I'm so grateful to feel so artistically fulfilled right now — as well as personally,” she said. “I can not complain.”
