The company Motorola Solutions Ltda was the winner of the tender to lease 1,100 body cameras for the Civil and Military Police of Rio Grande do Sul. By the 28th, the company will have to send samples to the government of the state of Rio Grande do Sul for analysis.
Five devices will be subjected to testing by the Military Brigade.
If approved by the control bodies, the proposal will be ready to be approved. From there, security agencies can contract the service. Thus, an implementation schedule will be drawn up by the company, which must be presented within 5 days.
Installation of the 1,100 body cameras must take place within 180 days of approval of the schedule.
In the bidding, held on May 23, four companies registered their proposals. The value offered by Motorola Solutions was R$800 for each camera, below the reference value specified in the notice.
