Brazil evolves in digitalization, but still faces inequality, says expert

in interview to CNN This Sunday (7), the president of Enap, Diogo Costa, said that Brazil has advanced in the digitalization of the public service, but still faces difficulties in breaking the inequality of access.

“Brazil has evolved in digital government. In the World Bank ranking, the country currently occupies the seventh position, so we can say that it is in the first division”, said the expert.

“But the public service in Brazil still faces a lot of inequality, so if you compare the federal government with municipalities, for example, we see that several cities still need to do a lot to be able to innovate and improve their digital transformation and improve public services available to citizens”, completed.

This week, Brasília, Rio de Janeiro and Recife will host the face-to-face events of the 2022 Innovation Week, which starts on Monday (8). During three days specialists will debate technological solutions in management and improvements in the public service.
