The Brazilian Patrícia Cançado was the winner of the iPhone Photography Awards (IPP Awards) in the “People” category. The photo called “Roupa de Banho” was taken in Bahia using an iPhone XR.
The 15th edition of the contest received thousands of entries from all over the world and has the following categories: Abstract, Animals, Architecture, Children, Cityscape, Landscape, Lifestyle, Nature, People, Portrait, Series (3 images), Nature- Dead, Sunset, Travel, Other.
This year’s Grand Prix winner, Antonio Denti of Italy, received the honor of Photographer of the Year for the image “The Boy of Mosul”, a tender moment in the dusty rubble of the war in Iraq.
The use of any iPhone was allowed to compete and the device’s additional lenses were also allowed. Posts on social networks (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) were eligible to compete.
The photos could not be altered in any image editing program such as Photoshop, for example.
The first place in each of the 14 categories won a barb from another.
