The 3rd season of “Bridgerton” is almost among us and, with it, new pop songs will gain “classic” versions.
Names like Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey, Billie Eilish, Demi Lovato It is BTS are already confirmed as part of the new soundtrack.
Pop songs, however, are nothing new in “Bridgerton”. Since its first season, launched in 2020, the period series has sought “transform” current songs into new versions with classic instrumentals .
In 2022, Chris Van Dusen, creator of the series, said at Netflix's TUDUM event more about the “Bridgerton” soundtrack.
“I chose all these songs for very specific reasons. Each is incredibly powerful and deeply emotional in its own special way. I always try a lot of different songs for any given scene before I find the perfect one to use.”
During the two already released seasons of the series, song versions by Taylor, Billie, Ariana Grande, Madonna and more were used to complement the story. CNN recalled some of the main ones.
