Registration for the second edition of the Unified Selection System (Sisu) closes at 11:59 pm this Friday (1st). The Specialist CNN in education Claudia Costin defended the importance of the tool and stated that “access to the university gives the student who completes it conditions for social mobility”.
According to the expert, Sisu is “a very positive instrument” that allows students to apply to different universities, according to their preferences.
The system uses the National High School Exam (Enem) score to select students for public higher education institutions across the country.
Faced with the instrument, Costin analyzes that “it is very positive that a larger portion of society has access to the university. And it is even good for the students themselves to have diversity in the student body, among the students”.
