Coronavirus – Britain: Over 52,000 new cases in 24 hours

THE Britain recorded 52.009 new cases coronavirus in the last 24 hours – the highest daily rate of infections since July 17 – as well as 115 deaths from complications of the disease, according to the latest data from the health authorities.

The number of new cases of the virus is growing rapidly, with infections over the last seven days increasing by 18% compared to the previous week. Deaths are not rising at such a rapid rate, however the seven-day moving average has risen by 11%, Reuters reported.

It is recalled that the British Minister of Health is the Minister of Health Sajid Javid “Resisted” yesterday the calls of doctors for reinstatement restrictive measures to tame the growing wave of infections, but warned that measures would be re-imposed if unvaccinated people should not be vaccinated or receive booster doses.

During his statements on Thursday, he stated that the cases in the winter could reach up to 100,000 per day.
