THE David Beckham went to Westminster Hall to pay tribute to Queen Elizabeth and the camera caught the one-time Manchester superstar emotional and wiping away tears.
According to dailymail.co.uk, Beckham waited in line as usual, not in the mood to skip it and eventually arrived at the Queen’s coffin at around 3.30pm. (local time).
It is noted that when he was approaching Westminster, speaking to Sky News, he said that “this day was always going to be a difficult day. Our thoughts are with the family, it is very special to hear all the stories from people here. I was so lucky to be able to have a few such moments in my life to be close to Her Majesty. It’s a sad day, but one to remember.”
