David Richardson writer of ‘Malcolm in the middle’ and ‘The Simpsons’ dies

2021 surprised us all with the sad news about the death of David Richardson, at 65 years of age.

As far as is known, the death of the producer and screenwriter was due to heart failure, a sequel that left him having fought cancer for almost 30 years. Without a doubt, the public is going to miss him.

Richardson began his writing career in the mid-1980s on the series Grand. Later, he participated in the project Empty Nest and due to his performance, he made it to the famous animation and comedy series The Simpson, in which he wrote and produced several of its chapters such as Homer Loves Flanders.

But his talent does not end there, because in 2000 he worked on the series Malcolm in the middle, where he also left his mark as a producer and screenwriter. In addition, he devoted his time and inspiration to three seasons of Two and a half Men.

There is no doubt that his legacy is enormous and we can remember it every time we enjoy some of his productions such as F is for family, Netflix animated series in which David served as executive producer. For now we can only say goodbye and wish prompt resignation to his friends and family, who appreciated and loved him.
