Fiocruz delivers new batch of vaccine doses against Covid-19

The Oswaldo Cruz Foundation delivers, this Wednesday (10), to the Ministry of Health, over 2.1 million doses of vaccine against Covid-19, produced at the Institute of Technology in Immunobiologicals (Bio-Manguinhos/Fiocruz).

This Wednesday’s shipment will be sent to the warehouse determined by the Ministry of Health to be distributed to the 26 Brazilian states and the Federal District. A second delivery is scheduled to take place this Friday (12) and the quantity will be released after the release of the lots.

With today’s release, the foundation reaches the milestone of 127.9 million doses of the immunizing agent made available to the National Immunization Program (PNI).

Fiocruz’s last delivery took place last Friday (5/11). About 3.5 million vaccines were released to the warehouse designated by the Ministry of Health, for distribution to states and municipalities.
