German air traffic controllers corrected the technical problems that were to disrupt traffic in European airspace todayannounced the air traffic control company DFS.
“From 9 a.m., we will resume operations with 100% air traffic,” said a DFS spokesman, whose inspectors are monitoring take-offs and landings at Germany’s 15 international airports.
It is too early to say how many flights were affected, the spokesman added.
German airline Lufthansa has announced that it expects flight delays and cancellations to destinations in Germany and Europe, especially at Frankfurt Airport, where it is the largest airline.
