Huawei has released a significant HarmonyOS 2.0 update for the global smartwatches Huawei Watch 3 (review) and Watch 3 Pro.
The firmware was numbered 2.0.0.197 and is 287 MB in size. Previously, a similar update was released in China and is now available in various regions of the international market. The update brings a number of new features. The main one is support for replies to SMS (SMS Reply).
Sleep mode will also appear on the watch, which helps to minimize distracting notifications during sleep by turning off all sounds except the alarm clock, support for data synchronization with sports equipment, keyboard input to search for music, the ability to choose how to play music – via Bluetooth headphones or a watch, tighter integration with smartphones based on Android and HarmonyOS.
