Google Pixel 6 Pro should be better than its predecessor, not only in terms of photos. The regulator has confirmed support for fast charging

XDA Developers claims the Pixel 6 series can support 33W wired charging. At the very least, the Pixel 6 Pro will definitely offer faster charging than the previous generation Pixel phones, which only supported 18W charging.

The National Communications Commission of Taiwan (NCC) has given the go-ahead for the Google Pixel 6 Pro, and accompanying documents show it will support the following charging modes: 5V / 3A (15W), 9V / 2A (18W) , 9 V / 3 A (27 W) and 11 V / 3 A (33 W). Google has already hinted that the charger will be sold separately.

Perhaps 33-watt charging will not be enough for someone, given that smartphones must have batteries with a capacity of 5000 mA • h, especially against the background of other Android flagships that support 100-watt charging. However, it is believed that very high charging power can harm the battery in the long term.

Google may also launch a new Pixel Stand for its 2021 flagships, which will offer 23W wireless charging.

Despite the fact that the Google Pixel 6 smartphones have not even received an official announcement date yet, they are already on display in the company’s store.
