A case of the disappearance of a 4-year-old boy in California had a happy ending. The little boy went missing from the camp and was found after 22 hours in the desert. A search and rescue team of about 50 officers and volunteers in California began an operation around 11 a.m. June 20 after the 4-year-old was reported missing from the camp surrounded by dense forest north of Fresno. The boy was last seen wearing shorts and a T-shirt, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office said. Around 8am on June 21, the boy was discovered in good condition “curled under a tree” near a lake about four kilometers from the “Rancheria” camp where his family was staying. “He was hungry and exhausted, but otherwise in good health. We got him a sandwich and then took him to be reunited with mom and dad,” the sheriff’s office said on June 22 via Facebook.
