A few days before the presentation, the Honor Magic3 smartphone was tested in the popular Geekbench benchmark, which confirms that the phone is based on the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus received a processor frequency increased to 2.995 Hz, while the new platform is 20% ahead of Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 in artificial intelligence performance. The GPU hasn’t changed, it’s the Adreno 660.

The tested smartphone with model number ELZ-AN10 is equipped with 8 GB of RAM and runs the Android 11 operating system. This smartphone must have full support for Google services and the Google Play store. As a result, the device scored 3556 points in single-threaded mode and 10257 points using all cores.

The Honor Magic3 is reportedly equipped with Micron’s 176-layer 3D NAND flash memory, which delivers a maximum download speed of 1500MB / s. The base model of the line will offer a 6.76-inch BOE AMOLED display with a resolution of 2772 x 1344 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The amount of RAM will be 8 or 12 GB. The 4500 mAh battery will support 66 W fast charging. The Honor Magic3 Pro will support 100W fast charging and 50W wireless charging, while the camera will provide 100x zoom.

The Honor Magic3 series is slated to premiere on August 12th. Yesterday the head of the company showed the smartphone live for the first time.
