HRD: Attiki Odos, Athens airport and other participations in the revised business plan approved by KYSOIP

The utilization of assets, such as ports, real estate, marinas, Attiki Odos, Athens International Airport and other participations, are included in the new revised business plan of the HRDH approved by the Government Economic Policy Council.

In particular, it is mentioned that the HRDH examines the way of utilization (sale or subcontracting of the activity) of the Port of Lavrio, prepares an invitation of interest for the Port of Volos, while it is noted that the procedures for the port-marina of Corfu are in progress and the procedure for Lefkimmi is prepared. For the port of Alexandroupolis, it is noted that the contractual texts will be completed soon and the binding offers will be given within the second quarter. Binding offers are expected for the port of Heraklion in the last quarter of 2022.

Regarding the sale of 30% of the International Airport “El. Venizelos” it is reported that the resumption of the tender process, which was “frozen” in its second phase due to the financial crisis and the pandemic, will be evaluated soon.

For Egnatia Odos, the next steps are the submission of final contractual texts by the investor, the approval of the concession contract by the Court of Auditors, the issuance of a JMC for toll adjustment, the signing of the contract by the Parliament, etc. Also mentioned are the licensing of the whole tunnels, the issuance of environmental conditions for points of the highway, the completion of toll stations, the installation of equipment in tunnels, for expropriations, etc.

Regarding ELPE, EYDAP and EYATH, the label for “evaluation of alternative development scenarios” remains, while for DEPA Commerce it is noted for “evaluation of alternative development scenarios in the light of international developments and legal implications”, as well as for the Ministry of Natural Gas Storage in Kavala.

For Attiki Odos (today the opening of the expression of interest files is expected), it is noted that there will be an announcement of pre-selected investors in the second quarter, the start of the second phase of the tender in the third quarter and the distribution of a draft concession contract in the third quarter.
