Among the new films this week, there are welcome returns and little surprises. First of all it should be mentioned Cry Macho by Clint Eastwood, which finally arrives in theaters also in Italy distributed by Warner Bros. At the center of the plot is a lonely man, forced by an old debt to leave for Mexico and set out on the trail of a boy. It’s an extremely intense story of rediscovery, with Eastwood as the protagonist.
Compartment n. 6 by Juho Kuosmanen (Bim Distribuzione) is one of the most anticipated films of this season. The protagonist is a woman who decides to travel alone and cross Russia by train. It is a personal and intimate tale, particularly delicate. But among the titles this week there is also room for a high-tension film, like The Ice Man with Liam Neeson, and for the return of Stephen Chbosky, Caro Evan Hansen. A must see: King Crab by Alessio Rigo de Righi and Matteo Zoppis.
