iPhone 14 without bangs confirmed by camera supplier Largan

The recently launched iPhone 13 retains the cutout design that the iPhone X brought with it, but the bangs are slightly smaller. There were already rumors that the design of the iPhone 14 would be heavily redesigned, and the bangs would be a thing of the past. Now the manufacturer of the supply chain company has confirmed this information.

Lin Enping, CEO of optical lens company Largan, said a few days ago that there has been a new breakthrough in optical technology. In the next year, more and more mobile phone customers will import high quality lenses such as 8P. In this case, the resolution of the image sensors will reach 200 megapixels.

Lin Enping also said that Largan has found a new solution to the problems that have plagued the optical industry for many years and overcome the physical limits. According to Mydrivers, Largan has technically solved the bang removal problem and has plans for mass production. Largan is one of the main suppliers of iPhone camera modules.

The source confirms that the customer (Apple) has already been provided with a design plan with the bangs removed. Now it all depends on when Apple decides to switch to the new design.

Reputable netizen and Front Page Tech editor Jon Prosser, who has proven himself well in past Apple-related leaks, posted the first renders of the iPhone 14 a month ago.
