Israeli forces demolished the home of a Palestinian accused of an attack in which an Israeli settler was killed last year near Jenin, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
Omar Jaradate’s apartment was destroyed by explosives in the village of Silat al-Haritiya, according to an Israeli army press release.
The press release refers to clashes that broke out between residents, who threw stones and Molotov cocktails at Israeli forces, who responded with semi-automatic weapons.
Two Israelis were injured, according to a photojournalist of the French Agency.
Israel blames Omar Jaradate and two relatives for the death of Yehuda Dimdman on December 16, 2021, when gunmen opened fire on a vehicle leaving the village of Homes in the northern West Bank.
Three other houses of the Jaradate family were demolished in the village of Silat al-Haritiya in March.
