Political scientist Felipe d’Avila, Novo’s pre-candidate for the Presidency of the Republic, said in an interview with CNN this Thursday (4), that the approval, in the first round, of the basic text of the PEC dos Precatórios, with the rapporteur’s amendments, is a way of making corporatism. For him, it would be possible to do politics in another way, with responsibility.
“It’s the way to feed clientelism and corporatism. We are abdicating the public spirit of thinking about the population. It is possible to carry out social policy with responsibility”, declared D’Avila.
According to D’Avila, the voting scoreboard shows two scenarios among parliamentarians.
“Those who vote in favor of corporatist interests, clientelism, patrimonialism. And those who vote in the common and Brazilian interests. A scoreboard that shows that every time society is not mobilized, the one who wins the battle is corporatism.”
Pre-application
On October 29, the Partido Novo announced D’Avila, who was in the PSDB, as a pre-candidate for the Palácio do Planalto. He is coordinator of the Unidos Pelo Brasil movement and founder of the Center for Public Leadership (CLP).
The caption stated that “he is confident in Felipe d’Avila’s ability to lead the Nation and Brazilians in building a freer and more prosperous country for all.”
