The ITA airline, belonging to the Itapemirim group, which is under judicial recovery, has again delayed payments to employees. This week, the National Aeronauts Union (SNA) sent an official letter to the company asking for clarification on the non-payment of food stamps and daily meals and the non-payment of the Severance Indemnity Fund (FGTS). The company, which started operating in July, has been frequently delaying payments.
According to the SNA, the voucher has been delayed for two months. The benefit of R$470 is paid to employees who receive up to R$5.2 thousand per month. In daily meals, the delay is five days.
Regarding the FGTS, there are reports that, this year, the contribution was collected only in January and April. “There is no communication,” said one official, requesting anonymity. “Delays are constant.”
explanations
When contacted, the ITA stated that the delay in daily rates was due to problems in the crew roster system, which has already been resolved. According to the company, payments were regularized.
Regarding the FGTS, the company said it was waiting for the opinion of the Box for payment in installments, but was willing to settle the arrears in full if this does not occur.
