La Compagnie arrives: flights only in business from Milan to New York (polluting less)

From April 15th we will be able to travel from Milan Malpensa to Newark, New Jersey, very close to New York, as we have never done before: on airplanes that only have business class and that even extra travel offer 5-star comfort. All for competitive rates after all: from 1500 euros return with, in addition, the possibility of changing the departure without cost up to 24 hours before departure.

It is a real revolution, and to start it in our country – however, just as our national airline is about to be resold after being refounded – is a French player: it is called The Company, has existed since 2014, and operates regular scheduled transatlantic flights between Newark and Paris Orly, seasonal services between Newark and Nice and flights between Tel Aviv and Malpensa. All flights are on Airbus A321neowhich are among the least polluting aircraft.

“Neo” in fact stands for “New Engine Option” ie “New Engine Option”, because these aircraft use larger and more efficient engines that make less noise and allow you to use 15% less fuel of the Airbus A321s, the model from which they were developed.

However, of the 230 seats that an A321neo could hold, La Compagnie has arranged just 76 in cabins configured in 2 x 2 seats: in short, there is a lot of space, and it is very comfortable because the seats are fully reclining and therefore can become beds.
