Microsoft Surface Pro 8 will be one of the first tablets with Windows 11. It will also have a 120Hz screen and two Thunderbolt ports.

Microsoft will unveil a slew of new products next week with an official event on September 22 to debut the Snapdragon 888-powered Surface Duo 2 foldable Android smartphone, as well as the successors to the current Surface Pro, Surface Pro X and Surface Go. Preliminary specifications for Surface Pro 8 have already surfaced on the web – it will be one of the world’s first tablets with Windows 11 preinstalled.

The Surface Pro 8’s specs were leaked by one of the retailers (essentially an online store) in China. The tablet image is unreliable (this is Surface Pro X), but the specifications most likely belong to the new model. So, Surface Pro 8 is credited with 11th generation Intel Core processors, a 13-inch screen with a frame rate of 120 Hz, two Thunderbolt ports and a removable and replaceable solid-state drive. The OS, of course, will be Windows 11.
