THE Brazil is going through a new heat wave at the beginning of October, which should last at least until the 8th.
With the predominance of a mass of hot and dry air that has regained strength across the country since last Sunday (29), the forecast indicates that temperatures should increase again in areas of the South, Southeast and Central West .
As a result of the action of this air mass, air quality may once again be compromised. Furthermore, with rising temperatures, there is a risk of the country recording new fires, such as those that have occurred in several places in Brazil since mid-August.

According to Climatempo, thermometers in the interior of São Paulo, Tocantins, in the Central-West region and in the interior of the Northeast are once again 3 to 5 °C above average, meaning that maximum temperatures can reach values close to 38 °C and 39°C.
In Cuiabá (MT) and Corumbá (MS), the maximum temperatures predicted for this period may vary between 40 °C and 42 °C.
Cold front
In contrast, the arrival of a cold front on the night of next Wednesday (2) should bring the return of cold air in the South region and part of the Southeast between Thursday (3) and Friday (4). This system could cause a slight drop in temperatures in the east and south of São Paulo next weekend.
