According to RIA Novosti with reference to the rating of billionaires Bloomberg Billionaires Index (BBI), the total wealth of the richest people in Russia has decreased by $45.484 billion since the beginning of the year.
In the top five, only Vladimir Potanin, the owner of Norilsk Nickel, who bought his share in TCS Group from Oleg Tinkov, not only did not become impoverished, but also became richer by $645 million, increasing his fortune to $31.5 billion.

Leonid Mikhelson, co-owner of Novatek, lost $6.48 billion and is in second place. Third place is held by Vladimir Lisin, who lost $4.27 billion. Severstal co-owner Alexei Mordashov took fourth place and lost $5.33 billion. The top five is closed by the owner of Metalloinvest, Alisher Usmanov (-$1.63 billion).
Also in the top ten were Vagit Alekperov with a fortune of $18.7 billion, Andrey Melnichenko with $18.3 billion, Viktor Vekselberg with $16 billion, Gennady Timchenko and Suleiman Kerimov, who have $15.5 and 14.4 billion.
