The warrants are carried out within the scope of Operation Friendly Fire, which aims to dismantle a criminal organization, made up of military police, CACs and shopkeepers, specialized in selling illegal weapons and ammunition to criminal factions in the states of Bahia, Pernambuco and Alagoas.

During the start of the operation, the Brazilian Army carried out inspections of other stores that sell controlled weapons, ammunition and accessories in the municipalities of Juazeiro/BA and Petrolina/PE.

The action of the PF of Bahia is integrated with GAECO Norte of the state Public Ministry and other security bodies.
