PF fulfills preventive arrest warrants and search and seizure in Dom and Bruno case

This Saturday (6th), the Federal Police carried out preventive arrest and search and seizure warrants in the Vale do Javari region, in continuation of the investigation into the double murder of indigenist Bruno Pereira and English journalist Dom Phillips.

In total, seven preventive arrest warrants were served, two of which were against suspects who are already in prison – one known as “Colombia” and Amarildo Costa de Oliveira, alias “Pelado”.

According to the PF, the investigation team managed to identify the real identity of the individual from “Colombia”.

“This is Ruben Dario da Silva Villar, a Colombian citizen who used ideologically false documents, such as a Brazilian ID card and Peruvian ID document, among others,” the note reads.

As the investigation progressed, the PF identified strong indications that “Colombia” would be the leader and financier of an armed criminal association dedicated to the practice of illegal fishing in the Javari Valley region, responsible for marketing large amounts of fish that were exported to other countries. neighbors.

Among the prisoners are three family members of Amarildo involved with the concealment of the bodies of Bruno and Dom Phillips.

The PF also informed that all are being investigated for associating with “Colombia” for carrying out illegal fishing in the region. Investigations continue.
