Prime Video subscribers can expect news soon. Mainly football fans.
The head of Live/Linear Playback and Operation at Prime Video, Ashish Ajwani revealed that the platform will introduce clips with highlights from football games broadcast on the streaming service .
“Today you have the functionality to restart a game. We will be introducing a feature for eligible devices called quick recap,” said at an Amazon event this Wednesday (24) in São Paulo.
“Let’s say [o jogo] start at 5pm. [Nós] TWe'll capture key moments from the game as clips so that when you're on the details page, you can select the quick recap. He will show five or six of these clips,” he explained.
Ajwani however, did not reveal when the functionality will be available in Brazil.
He stated that it was designed for people who arrive home after the start of the game and want to find out what happened without having to restart the game.
