Prince William in his toughest role yet on the international stage – ‘Ready to take the reins’

Attending alongside seven presidents, three kings, a duke and scores of prime ministers, Prince William took on his most important role on the world stage yesterday. Circumstances were not easy, as he was filling in for his father, who was unable to take an active part in the D-Day commemorations at Omaha Beach due to his ongoing cancer treatment. However, King Charles was very proud that his son had ably replaced him. “I am delighted that the Prince of Wales has attended the event, to represent the nation,” were the words of the king, according to a source cited by the Dailymail.
