Queen Elizabeth became a great-grandmother for the ninth time. Princess Eugenie gave birth to a boy: photo

On February 9, Princess Eugenie of York, granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II, gave birth to a boy – he became the ninth great-grandson of the British monarch. A message about this appeared on the official website of the royal family.

Childbirth took place in a private London clinic Porter, now the baby and his mother are doing well. The name of the child has not yet been given.

Contrary to the established traditions of the royal family, Princess Eugenia even posted the first photo with her son on the network, in which he is holding her finger.

According to the princess, she is not making long-term plans for a royal title for her child, but simply wants her children to be happy, healthy and live a “normal life” at home in Kensington Palace.

In November 2019, the son of Elizabeth II, Prince Andrew, resigned from his official duties as a member of the royal family.
