Yandex and the operator “Rostelecom” and announced a cooperation, the purpose of which will be the development and promotion of cloud services and services.
The agreement was signed at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum by Vladimir Kiriyenko, First Vice President of Rostelecom, and Tigran Khudaverdyan, Managing Director of Yandex Group of Companies.
The partnership assumes joint development and implementation of solutions using the Yandex.Cloud cloud platform and Rostelecom services for clients in the corporate and government segments. As planned, all services will meet the increased security requirements for such information systems.
Vladimir Kiriyenko explained:

Yandex, undoubtedly, has unique competencies in the development of software and services. Joining forces will allow us to develop relevant solutions that will help authorities and businesses in digitalizing their processes. Yandex launched the Yandex.Cloud platform in 2018 – in three years almost 10 thousand companies have connected to it; in the last year alone, the volume of service consumption by large businesses has grown fivefold.
