Samsung Electronics announced the start of sales in Russia of the new Galaxy Tab A Kids tablet. As the manufacturer notes, the novelty was created especially for children.
The Galaxy Tab A Kids model is based on the inexpensive Galaxy Tab A7 Lite WiFi tablet, which debuted on the Russian market this summer. It is available at a suggested retail price of RUB 14,990.
The new tablet has a bright protective cover-stand, a special children’s interface, advanced parental control functions and a wide selection of pre-installed educational and entertainment content, including games, applications and videos from Lego, Smesharikov and Toca.
In addition, the device is placed in a colorful package with the image of the characters from the animated series “Smeshariki”, and a set of stickers comes with it as a gift.
Among the technical characteristics – a display with a diagonal of 8.7 inches with a resolution of WXGA + (1340 x 800 pixels), cameras at 8 and 2 megapixels, the MediaTek Helio P22T platform, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of built-in flash memory, a 5100 mAh battery.
