Samsung recently announced that it plans to update its devices to Android 14 ahead of the competition in the future. It seems that the company is starting to work in this direction now with the current One UI 5 firmware based on Android 13, Sally Hyesoon Jeong, vice president of framework research and development in the mobile division, said in an interview with SamMobile.
According to her, smartphones of the first wave are already being updated to One UI 5, however, due to certain difficulties, it is difficult to name the exact release date of the update for each of the supported devices. However, Sally Jeong emphasized that the company wants to complete the rollout of the update this year.
